Scripture

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.”
— Proverbs 3:5 (NRSV)

Reflection

There is a quiet exhaustion that comes from trying to control what was never yours to control. You may try to anticipate every outcome. You may rehearse every possibility, hoping to protect yourself from uncertainty. Yet control does not create peace. It creates tension. Trust begins where control ends.

God sees what you cannot see. He understands what you cannot yet understand. And even now, He is guiding what you cannot yet resolve. Release does not mean abandoning care. It means entrusting what you cannot hold securely on your own.

You are allowed to loosen your grip.

Reflection Question

What situation are you trying to control, and what might it feel like to entrust it to God?
