Scripture

“Those who look to him are radiant; their faces shall never be ashamed.”
— Psalm 34:5 (NRSV)

Reflection

Shame convinces you to hide. It tells you that parts of your story make you unworthy of love or belonging. It asks you to turn away from the very One who offers healing.

Yet Scripture tells a different truth. When you turn toward God, you are not met with condemnation. You are met with light. God does not define you by your worst moment. He defines you by His love. You do not need to hide from Him.

You are safe to be seen.

Reflection Question

What part of yourself have you been hiding, and what might it feel like to bring it gently into God’s light?
