Scripture
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
— Psalm 46:10 (NRSV)
Reflection
Striving can easily become a way of life. You may feel pressure to prove your worth, solve every problem, or constantly move forward. Yet Scripture reminds you that knowing God begins not with striving, but with stillness.
Stillness allows you to remember that your value does not come from endless effort. It comes from belonging to God. You are not loved because of what you accomplish.
You are loved because you are His.
Reflection Question
Where in your life have you been striving, and what might it look like to practice stillness instead?
