— Isaiah 53:5 (NRSV)

Reflection

Good Friday is not easy to hold. It asks us to sit in the weight of what was carried, and witness love expressed not in comfort, but in sacrifice. There is a temptation to rush past this day to move quickly toward resurrection, hope, and light. However, Good Friday invites you to pause, to remain and to behold.

On this day, we remember a love that did not turn away. A love that stayed. A love that stayed in the suffering, in the silence and in the weight of the cross. Christ did not endure the cross because it was easy. He endured it because of love. It was a love he saw in you, that chose you, and carried what you could not carry alone. This is not a distant story but a present truth. Even now, there are places in your life that feel heavy, uncertain, painful, or unresolved. Good Friday reminds you that God is not absent in those places. He has already entered them, and has already made a way through them.

Today is not about understanding everything. It is about remembering this:

You are deeply loved, and the love that stayed on the cross is the same love that stays with you now.

Reflection Question

Where in your life do you need to remember that God has already entered your pain and is present with you there?
