Scripture

“He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said.”
— Matthew 28:6 (NRSV)

Reflection

The waiting is over. The silence of Good Friday, the stillness of the tomb and the uncertainty of what comes next. All of this gives way to this day day. Easter Sunday!

He has risen. He has risen indeed.

The stone was not rolled away so that Jesus could leave. It was rolled away so that we could see. See that death does not have the final word. See that darkness does not overcome light. See that what seemed finished was only the beginning.

Resurrection is not only something that happened to Christ but a gift he gave us. It is something that lives within you. Every place where hope has been restored, where fear has loosened its grip and where new life has quietly begun.

This is resurrection. You are not who you were when this journey began. Something has shifted inside you, awakened and made In you. Today is not just a celebration and an invitation to step fully into the life that has been opened to you. You no longer walk into fear but to freedom.

He has risen.

And because He live, so do we.

Reflection Question

Where in your life do you see evidence of new life, and how is God inviting you to fully step into it?
