Scripture

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
— Psalm 139:23–24 (NRSV)

Reflection

Yesterday, you were invited into stillness. Today, you are invited into awareness.

There is a landscape within you vast, complex, and often unexplored. It holds your joys and your wounds, your hopes and your fears. Much of it remains hidden beneath the surface of daily life, not because it is unimportant, but because it has never been gently brought into the light.

The Psalmist does not fear being seen by God, he invites it.

“Search me, O God.”

This is not the language of shame. It is the language of trust.

God already knows every corner of your heart. He sees not only your strengths, but your struggles. He sees not only who you have been, but who you are becoming. And yet, He waits patiently for your willingness to see yourself as He does, not with condemnation but with compassion.

Awareness is the beginning of transformation. What remains unseen remains unchanged. But what is brought into the light can be healed, guided, and renewed.

Today, you are invited to notice your thoughts, your emotions, and your inner movements without judgment.

Simply notice.

God is already there.

Reflection Question

What have you been reluctant to acknowledge within yourself, and what might it feel like to allow God to see it with you?
