Scripture

“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28 (NRSV)

Reflection

Now that you have begun to see what lives within you, another invitation quietly emerges: the invitation to release. You were never meant to carry everything alone.

Some burdens were picked up in moments of fear. Others were placed upon you by expectation, disappointment, or loss. Over time, they may have begun to feel permanent, as though they were simply part of your life. Yet Jesus speaks directly to the weary. He does not ask you to carry more. He asks you to come. Rest is not found in striving harder. It is found in surrender.

Today, you are invited to consider what you no longer need to carry.

Reflection Question

What burden in your life feels heavy, and are you willing to bring it honestly before God?
