Lent Day 24: Growth That Happens Quietly

Scripture “The kingdom of God is as if someone would scatter seed on the ground… the seed would sprout and grow, he does not know how.”— Mark 4:26–27 (NRSV) Reflection…

Scripture

“The kingdom of God is as if someone would scatter seed on the ground… the seed would sprout and grow, he does not know how.”
— Mark 4:26–27 (NRSV)

Reflection

Much of God’s work within you happens unseen. Like seeds growing beneath the soil, spiritual growth often unfolds quietly. There may be days when you feel unchanged, when your progress seems invisible. Yet growth does not always announce itself.

God is working in places you cannot yet see, within your thoughts, your patience, your compassion, and your understanding. Trust the slow and faithful work of God.

Even when you do not see it, something sacred is unfolding.

Reflection Question

Where might God be growing something within you that is not yet fully visible?
